About the organisation
The Municipality of Gjorče Petrov is one of the ten municipalities in the city of Skopje. Established in 1996, it holds the following responsibilities, as outlined in Article 15 of the Law on the City of Skopje, which involve matters of local significance within the municipalities of Skopje: planning and spatial management; protection of the environment and nature; local economic development; communal activities; culture; education; social and child protection; health care; protection and rescue of citizens and material goods from military destruction and natural disasters and other accidents and the consequences caused by them; as well as the supervision over the performance of works under the authority of the municipality.
