NALAS Task Force Energy Efficiency Visit to Vienna, 9th of March 2016

BACID programme supported the NALAS Task Force Energy Efficiency (TF EE) during their meeting in Vienna:
- the group of municipal energy efficiency professionals from the South-East Europe learned about the Urban Energy Efficiency Program and Action Plan of Renewable Energy of Vienna, at the visit of Tinavienna Smart City Agentour and Energy Centre. It was emphasized that "Energy efficiency is not only about buildings, it is also about mobility", emphasized our hosts, stating that for the first time in the history, in 2015 Vienna had more annual tickets for public transportation than cars.
- TF EE also visited the District Cooling Centre of Vienna, learning about their energy efficiency practices in providing district heating to important buildings in Vienna.
